How to softmod (hack) your Wii!

The Nintendo Wii is a pretty nice console, that is, if you don't have any other consoles of this generation. If you are like many people out there, you probably want a lot more from your Wii, and sadly Nintendo will probably never listen to you! BUT, there's always a way for the little guy to get what he wants from the corporations! Follow this link for a tutorial on how to hack your Wii to be able to play backup Wii games (games that are burned on a DVD-R as ISO files or on a USB/SD card as WBFS files.) emulators, change themes, and DO A LOT MORE on your Wii! Now, if you choose to follow through, you can't blame me if something happens to your Wii. Playing WBFS off of your SD card on your Wii!

If you've softmodded or hardmodded your Wii, it is possible to play Wii games without having to burn an ISO or use an actual game. How do you do it? It's very simple. Once you have your Wii ready, with CFG USB Loader, follow these steps. (If you don't have your Wii hacked, go to my previous post on how to hack your Wii!) Get your SD Card, if your Wii can read it already, and the Homebrew Channel can read the apps in it, create a folder at the root of the SD Card and name it "wbfs" without the quotes! 2.
