Playing WBFS off of your SD card on your Wii!
If you've softmodded or hardmodded your Wii, it is possible to play Wii games without having to burn an ISO or use an actual game. How do you do it? It's very simple. Once you have your Wii ready, with CFG USB Loader, follow these steps. (If you don't have your Wii hacked, go to my previous post on how to hack your Wii!) Look below the picture to continue. :D
_________________________________________________________________________________1. Get your SD Card, if your Wii can read it already, and the Homebrew Channel can read the apps in it, create a folder at the root of the SD Card and name it "wbfs" without the quotes!
2. Download a game in WBFS format, or convert an ISO into a WBFS, put the file into that folder.
3. Insert your SD Card into your Wii.
4. Open CGF USB loader, wait for it to try and read a USB or HDD drive. Once it says it could not read, press the (A) button on your Wiimote, press left OR right, NOT AND, press (A) on your Wiimote one more time.
5. If you have done step 4 successfully you will now see a row of Wii cases, all of them will be repeated if you only have one game. Select the game you have, and BAM! You are now going to be able to play a WBFS from your SD Card. NOTE: You can also download the game case cover. Just select the game, look for options, then look for download cover, download it, and you are done with that. Easily Hacked!

ReplyDeleteThis was the exact same thing I used to do and am still doing. Awesome trick right? I have seen some people actually formatting Pen Drive's into a WBFS format. I simply create a wbfs folder and place my games in it. Well, I should say thanks cos now I am sure that what I am doing is right.
