How to install and setup Project 64 (A Nintendo 64 Emulator)

This quick guide will show you what an emulator is an how to install one, specifically Project 64, a Nintendo 64 emulator. Emulators do what their names suggests, they emulate. What do they emulate? They emulate games, converting your pc or mac into a gaming console. It uses the drive on your computer to power it and allows smooth playback, if you have a decent computer of course. Playing WBFS off of your SD card on your Wii!

If you've softmodded or hardmodded your Wii, it is possible to play Wii games without having to burn an ISO or use an actual game. How do you do it? It's very simple. Once you have your Wii ready, with CFG USB Loader, follow these steps. (If you don't have your Wii hacked, go to my previous post on how to hack your Wii!) Look below the picture to continue. :D _________________________________________________________________________________1. Get your SD Card, if your Wii can read it already, and the Homebrew Channel can read the apps in it, create a folder at the root of the SD Card and name it "wbfs" without the quotes! 2. Download a game in WBFS format, or convert an ISO into a WBFS, put the file into that folder. 3. Insert your SD Card into your Wii. 4. Open CGF USB loader, wait for it to try and read a USB or HDD drive. Once it says it could not read, press the (A) button on your Wiimote, press left OR right, NOT AND, press (A) on your Wiimote one

BUT, there's always a way for the little guy to get what he wants from the corporations! Follow this link for a tutorial on how to hack your Wii to be able to play backup Wii games (games that are burned on a DVD-R as ISO files or on a USB/SD card as WBFS files.) emulators, change themes, and DO A LOT MORE on your Wii! Now, if you choose to follow through, you can't blame me if something happens to your Wii. To make you happy, though, I can almost GUARANTEE that if you follow the guide thoroughly and patiently, nothing bad will happen to your Wii. Have fun! :D Click Here! to go to the link!
